Happy Friday! As you may be aware, the mosquitos seem to love our playground so I wanted to let you know that we are doing what we can to try and control nature but it’s a bit of an uphill battle. We have a contract with a pest control company to have the playground treated regularly but this summer they seem especially active. The company will be out again on Tuesday the 28th, however, they’ve been clear that treating the space helps but will not eliminate the problem because they can come from anywhere. It may be helpful to apply bug spray to your children prior to dropping them off in the morning. For those of you not comfortable with traditional bug sprays, there are many natural sprays available as well. For our full day students, please feel free to leave a bottle with your child’s teacher so that we can re-apply prior to going out in the afternoon. Before leaving the spray you’ll need to complete a permission form which the teachers will have available.
